Just a quick post about a nice white that I just came across, and I wanted to share.

The 2010 Chateau Bonnet ‘Entre Deux Mers’ is a white white Boreaux blend consisting of Sauvignon Blanc 50%, Sémillon 40%, Muscadelle 10%.  Unlike white blends from the new world (CA or Australia), this isn’t sweet as one would expect.  This is a nice, crisp, mildly acidic blend which would go fantastic with all of the cliche ‘seafood and chicken’ pairings.

I’m not sure what compelled me to write about this one, but the surprise of the crispness along with the ripe pineapple, grapefruit, and even a tropical floral note.  Either way, I’m a fan.  I got it for $10…but it can go for as much as $15.  Either way, it’s worth both.  Enjoy!
